Skerries Afterschool

At Skerries Afterschool we provide a breakfast club from 8am and drops to local schools for 9am. We collect from local schools and are open until 6pm. During School holidays we are open 8am-6pm daily. We provide drops/collections to local activities if children are involved in them.

Our Afterschool is located in a separate building from the crèche in the centre of the town. At Skerries Afterschool it is our aim to create a nurturing space where children can explore, learn and develop essential life skills in supportive and enjoyable settings.

Our afterschool care plays an important role in the social and emotional development of children and is not intended to be an extension of the school day. We place a huge emphasis on outdoor play - we have access to tennis courts and an Astro pitch which we try and utilise as much as possible, as well as getting out to local playgrounds and beaches. We also have a reading and chill-out room which can be utilised every day.
